SINGAPORE (Backpackers Diary) Part 3

Hi peeps,

Sihat semua? Jam sudah menginjak ke pukul 5.40pm, kami bergegas ke last destination iaitu Garden by the Bay.

Hotel Fullerton vibes crazy rich Asians sgt

Tiga ketoi gades berjalan santai melalui Fullerton Road dari Merlion Park ke mrt yang paling dekat iaitu Raffles Place St. Cuaca mendung dan angin sepoi-sepoi menemani kami yang masih gigih berjalan menyelusuri jalan hutan batu.

My pov <3

Hutan batu bata

Pintu masuk mrt di belakang monument ni. Kena jalan dalam 5mins. We took an NSL (Red line) train from Raffles Place to Marina Bay St then changed platforms to Bayfront St by DTL (blue line) train. Dari Bayfront Station boleh jalan kaki je dalam 5mins untuk ke entrance Garden by the Bay.

I macam biasa laaa tap2 je Bigpay card sepanjang naik semua public transport, and I perasan Bigpay apps notifications for deductions tak ada.  Alamak takkan free kot.

Your pov gitu

Berhenti rehat 5mins, penat woi jalan. Masa ni I dah start runny nose maybe allergies with certain food or environment. Sam pula paksa Ain & I habiskan segala mak nenek makanan dalam beg dia. I cuma dahaga wei, tak lapar sebab letih+ masih excited.

Ain suggested we take a shuttle service (3$ seorang) dah penat nak jalan oii .HAHA
The entrance fees were free for the public. But if you guys want to experience more, they have many activities here such as Flower Dome, Cloud Forest, Floral Fantasy & Skytree Observatory. Pls google sendiri ye~

This area is so huge, that we need at least half a day to explore and enjoy the entire garden.

Of course, we spent most of our precious time here. Idk why? Banyak gilaa gambar kitorg dekat spot ni sampai a few tourist asked us to take their pictures too.HAHA
One of them helped us took our pictures, baru perasan tak banyak gambar bertiga.

Garden yang penuh dengan bunga-bunga chenta. A must-see place to enjoy nature with green scenery.

A counseling session with Ain while waiting for the light show performance.

Berangan dating sini every weekend with my partner in crime
& suddenly he's getting on one knee :p

The Skytree light show started at 7.45pm. Masa ni dah tergaru-garu, tak tau bengkak allergies atau kena gigit nyamuk.lol. The show was enchanting and added a magical touch to our short getaway.

Omg, this view 100000% felt surreal to me.

At this moment I macam blur terox bcos dah penat sampai tak leh fikir. I dah sekilas check city mapper yang kena naik blue line but tiba-tiba  I was-was. HAHA.

Ain  memang dah KO sebab penat. Sam masih cool, she double checked the route at the information board and convince me yang kita memang in the right train line. Siap tunjuk nama Bugis terpampang jelas dekat situ and I boleh pulak tak nampak.

We reached Queenstreet terminal before 9pm, the only buses available were Causeway Link and the que line sangat panjang yaaa.

They charge 30$ or more per head. Ain try pujuk us yang sudah separuh nyawa untuk naik teksi pakcik tu but Sam and I taknak bcos nanti jammed jugak before and after immigration.

Bus pula ada their own lane so lagi cepat and murah, only 4.8$. Alhamdulilah less than 10mins dah dapat naik bas walaupun berdiri je. Penuh sangat dengan malaysian yang baru nak balik keje + us -the jelly beans trio.lol The immigration process at the both side were smooth and we reached Larkin Sentral around 10pm. The car park fees at Plaza Larkin was RM14.

The next morning, I got a notification from Bigpay about how much the MRT fee was charged from my bank card -Rm24 for 1 day not that bad. Baru je nak happy dapat free public transport. To sum up, It was a fun journey yet tiring. This trip taught me a few lessons about life - Don't rush things, it's okay if the plan does not go your way & be grateful for what you already have. Repeat SG? Yes!

With love.

Yaya doe
